At the heart of our operation is our Office Furniture Installation service, covering both public and private sector works in offices, educational establishments, accommodation and hotel units, military bases and hospitals.
LSI cover all areas of furniture installation from loose to fixed. This includes, but is not limited to, workstations, tables, storage, seating, break out areas, receptions, soft seating, storage-wall, beam and auditorium seating and some bespoke items.
Whether it’s a simple fit-out or a large multi-site operation, we’ll dovetail our work in with your grand plan to create an efficient and seamless service. On time and within budget.
We’ll draw up and agree with you a detailed schedule of works, including pre and post-installation site visits. Our site supervisors will keep you and your client informed of progress throughout the project and when it’s all done, make sure everyone is fully satisfied.
We’ll manage the recycling or legal disposal of all waste and removed materials too, leaving the site clean, tidy and ready for occupation.
We can offer fully quoted project options, where following a site survey and meetings with you and your client we can advise on a preferred and realistic working programme and a total cost of works. For new item installation, this can be based on all direct to site deliveries, all deliveries via our warehouse, or a combination of both.
We can also offer a labour only supply, where we can provide crew numbers to your request. This can be any combination of site supervisors, fitters and porters to the set amount you require, over a certain duration of time or to specific on-site working hours.
We pride ourselves on having established and long serving site teams, and our customer base is often provided with familiar crew, which many of our customers find very helpful. Our crews forge ongoing relationships with end users, understand their buildings and any particular site conditions or access requirements and also the nature of that particular business, giving return clients the comfort factor and peace of mind that works will go as smoothly as possible using crews they know and trust.
We have knowledge and experience of a large range of furniture manufacturers and their products, allowing us to complete all installations regardless of size in the most efficient manner. We also stock a range of spare fittings at our warehouse, allowing us to react to any missing bolts, fixings or similar items, meaning the job gets completed with potential delays, snagging or re visits being avoided.
Maintenance and Repair
It’s a good idea to give any office an occasional service check.
As a part of our service range, we can offer routine inspection and maintenance calls. During a visit, we check fixings, runners, locks, power supplies, fuses, cables and even workstation levels.
Our comprehensive checklist also includes seat operation, back adjustment, mechanism checks and the free movement of castors. If anything needs to be replaced, we can assist with the supply through a network of furniture suppliers and return at a convenient date to fit. We also have contacts with skilled business partners who can restore metalwork and veneers and reupholster furnishings.
Many key furniture manufacturers have used LSI as support to their own service and warranty programs, due to our vast experience of products over the years.
